Making a gift to RDNS through a bequest in your Will is a very special way to support our future. RDNS would not exist today were it not for the generosity of past supporters who understood the importance of our work.
Gifts through Wills allow us to develop new services, buy much needed equipment, undertake research to improve care and to confidently plan for a future where we can continue our vital work.
Those who make a gift in their Will are invited to become members of our Lifetime Companions program, enjoying a special and close relationship with RDNS.
Including the correct wording of your gift to RDNS in your Will is important to ensure that your wishes are carried out exactly as you intended.
The following wording may be of assistance:
"I ................... devise and bequeath to Royal District Nursing Service Limited (RDNS), 31 Alma Road, St Kilda, ACN 052 188 717, for its general purpose (insert % of estate, residue of estate, property/item or sum of money). I direct that the receipt of the Chief Executive Officer or other proper officer of RDNS shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors."
We also recommend that you discuss your intentions with your family and seek legal advice before altering your Will.
